A young woman has suffered severe injuries after a large rock was allegedly thrown from a cliff into the windscreen of her car while she was driving on a secluded road late at night.

The 24-year-old suffered severe bone and muscle bruising when the four kilogram rock hit her car as it drove along Revesby's Henry Lawson Drive in Sydney's south-west at 10pm on July 13.
An 18-year-old man, who allegedly threw the rock from a 20-metre cliff beside the road in Boomerang Reserve, has been arrested.
He was charged with damaging or destroying property with the intention of endangering life and is due to face Bankstown Local Court on July 16. He has been refused bail.
This comes less than three months after two similar attacks in Victoria and NSW.
A couple were driving home from the cinema in Geelong, Victoria late at night when a rock was allegedly thrown from a rail bridge on April 24. The pair were uninjured as the rock hit the bottom of the glass pane.
And in Dapto, south of Wollongong in NSW, a rock was allegedly thrown from an overpass on Fowlers Road into a car driven by an 18-year-old man on April 18.
Police were searching for suspects in both April cases.
