Western Australia will host what Premier Roger Cook says will be Australia's biggest party to commemorate the historic 1983 America's Cup win.

The September 24 event will feature a free concert and drone show at Victoria Quay in Fremantle, along with free entry to the WA Maritime Museum, where visitors can see the famous yacht Australia II and enjoy the special 40 Years On exhibition.
West Australians far and wide are being urged to join the celebrations.
The concert will feature WA Eurovision entrant Voyager, the Baby Animals, the Hoodoo Gurus and a rendition of the Australia II team anthem Down Under by Perth's Slim Jim & the FATTS.
The drone show will light up the sky over Fremantle waters as the event finale.
To expand on the celebrations, the WA Maritime Museum, home of Australia II, will offer free entry across the long weekend from September 23.
The exhibition includes a new film, shown on an eight-metre curved screen, featuring the victorious team revisiting memories of winning what critics maintained was an unwinnable race.
Other highlights include the "Bob Hawke jacket" with replicas for the public to try on, Boxing Kangaroo flags flown at Newport, Rhode Island, a replica of the America's Cup, and other memorabilia.
"The America's Cup is the oldest trophy in international sport and Australia's historic underdog victory 40 years ago broke the longest sporting winning streak on record," Mr Cook said.
"This is a party you don't want to miss."
