Rising star Jaylin Galloway has become the first player to re-sign with the Sydney Kings after the side's second consecutive NBL championship victory.

Galloway is coming off a career-best NBL season, earning an average of 10 more minutes of game time for the Kings this campaign compared to the previous year and making his Boomers debut in the World Cup qualifying campaign.
The 20-year-old 197cm swingman has put pen to paper on a three-year contract extension.
The departure of Xavier Cooks to the NBA could open up more opportunities for Galloway, given the pair bring a similar build and skill-set to the Kings.
"I want to improve even more next year and win the NBL's Next Generation Award, while also helping the club secure its second-ever three-peat," Galloway said of his goals for the 2023/24 season.
"The club is super special to me, being the first-ever professional team I played for and that means a lot to me.
"There really isn't another club I want to play for."
Galloway's previous contract had an option for the Kings to extend him through next season but CEO Chris Pongrass said the club was keen to reward his effort with a new deal.
"The growth Jaylin has made during his three seasons with us has been exceptional - he will be a key piece for our club for years to come," he said.
"We're thrilled to have him remain in Sydney for at least the next three seasons and look forward to him proving why he's one of the country's young up-and-coming stars."
Galloway's contract extension means he joins Shaun Bruce, Dejan Vasiljevic and Jordan Hunter on the Kings' roster for next season.
The Kings are unlikely to be able to retain all three of their import trio of Derrick Walton Jr., Justin Simon and Tim Soares, given the international interest in-form NBL imports usually command.
After the Kings defeated the New Zealand Breakers to clinch the championship series, Walton said he had not made any decisions on his future.
