The countdown is on for a whole lot of boot-scootin' at Australia's biggest international country music festival CMC Rocks this weekend.

Returning in its 16th year, CMC Rocks will see country music lovers descend in their droves on Willowbank Raceway in Ipswich, near Brisbane, Queensland, from Friday, March 17 to Sunday, March 19.
Leading the festival line up straight out of the US are Zac Brown Band, Morgan Wallen and Kip Moore.

The musical offerings kick off on the Tailgate Stage from Wednesday, March 15 as early bird campers snag the best spot to pitch their tents before the weekend rush.
But Friday is when the real magic starts, with all three stages to keep the crowd on their feet and dancing into the night all weekend long.

For day trippers, parking will be available for $15 per day and three bus routes will be running to the festival, from local motels, Ipswich Train Station and Roma St Busway, Brisbane.
Tickets for the festival are sold out but may be available through resale.
