The Hanging Rock local decided to take a leap of faith, launching her own boutique showcasing handmade, Australian-owned items.
Bliss Nundle, on Jenkins Street, stocks giftware, homewares, gourmet food items and flowers, and Ms Humbles said she hopes it will build on the village's reputation as a tourism hub.
"Since I moved here nearly five years ago, I've had my eye on the store," she said.

"I've always sort of wanted a little store like this, and thought that Nundle needed it, so I took a leap of faith and jumped at it."

Ms Humbles said her store supports small businesses in regional NSW launched during the drought, or during COVID.
"I have a lot of stock from businesses that were created in the drought," she said.
"Items made in Australia, locally, small businesses, and keeping my prices reasonable is what I've focused on.
"Having a little store where local people can come in and afford to purchase something to give us a gift was really important to me. Being accessible to everybody.
It's been 13 years since she's ventured into a retail business, but she said the support from the community has been amazing.
"The community has just been so supportive and really excited and the business community in Nundle is just amazing, they get right behind you," she said.
"I know from living in the area that if you want a quick gift for somebody, you've got to drive all the way into Tamworth, so Nundle needed a little store.
"Quirindi, Willow Tree, Murrurundi all have their little stores that people love coming to, and Nundle is such a tourist destination."
The store will also offer fresh bouquets of flowers.
"There's nowhere else you can buy fresh flowers in Nundle, so my vision is for it to be the one stop shop for tourists," Ms Humbles said.
