It's the street nearly everyone in Australia (and the UK) would be familiar with.
For 37 years Aussies have watched its residents grow up, fall in love, make mistakes and foil elaborate schemes, but now Neighbours is coming to an end on Thursday, July 28.
Some people believe the final episode marks "the end of an era" of Australian television, while others are happy the show is calling time after thousands of episodes spanning almost four decades.
Residents of Sydney and Newcastle, in NSW's Hunter region, were torn about whether they'd be tuning in to watch the last episode.
Bryson Woodhouse said he would have been only four or five years old when he watched his first episode of Neighbours in the early 2000s.
"I used to curl up with the old girl when I was younger and watch it on TV," he said.
"It brings back a few memories when I hear about it.
"I didn't even know they were finishing up to be honest but I reckon it's a bit of an end of an era."
Mr Woodhouse said he most likely wouldn't be tuning in for the final episode, but "if Kylie Minogue is coming back I might have to make it a yes".
Kylie's return was a big drawcard for Deb Saville.
She said she'd be tuning in to watch the last few episodes.
"I feel a bit sad that the show is ending but it had to end sometime and they are sort of ending on high," she said.
"I am glad that some of the characters, the originals, are coming back.
"I'll watch the finale to see them and how they're going to bring them back.
"I am a bit sad that it's ending but they had a very good run. It's a good show."
Andrea Kendros said he started watching Neighbours in the 90s.
"I watched it religiously every day up until 2010 or 2011 when it moved from stations from Channel 10 to Peach but in the last six months or so I'd keep up to date with it and watch it every so often," he said.

"Its probably the best for it to end. It was staring to run its course and losing momentum. The storylines went a bit silly it's probably best for it to go off into the sunset."
When asked if he's be watching the final episode Mr Kendros said, "yeah bloody oath. Next Thursday. It's at 6.30 and it's going to go for an hour and I think Scott and Charlene are coming back".
Alana Mulqueeny said she last watched Neighbours more than 20 years ago.
However she said she didn't really care that the show was coming to an end and that she wouldn't be watching the finale.
"I don't watch it, so it's not on my radar," she said.
Stephen and Nedene Barretto said they would be tuning in to watch the finale.
"I watched it religiously when I was younger but I've been watching it this week so I can see how it ends," Mrs Barretto said.
"I've been watching the last two or three nights."
Mr Barretto said it was the end of an era.
"We watched it more when we were overseas as a taste of home," Mr Barretto said.
"Neighbours seemed to be bigger in the UK than it was here.
"It's encompassed a few generations as well, so I think its pretty sad that its ending.
"Everybody needs good Neighbours."
The Neighbours 90-minute final episode will air at 7.30pm, Thursday, July 28 on 10 and 10 Peach.
