Roughly 240 players will take part throughout the tournament, and bowls manager for South Tamworth, Phil O'Reilly, confirmed it will be the largest event held at the club in 2022.

"There are Australian representatives among some of the teams, so it'll be the highest quality bowls for the state," O'Reilly said.
"The champions of each region have qualified to play against each other to be the state champion."
Play will take place in the singles, open and senior pairs, mixed pairs, triples, and open and senior fours divisions.
Several players and teams from local clubs are expected to take part as well.
Narrabri's Lorraine Scott will contest the open singles, there will be a team from West Tamworth in the triples division, a side from Delungra in the open pairs, a team from South Tamworth in the mixed pairs, teams from Inverell and Muswellbrook in the senior pairs competition, a South Tamworth side in the open fours, and Muswellbrook and Narrabri teams in the senior fours.
These local bowlers, O'Reilly believes, have as much of a chance as any of the other competitors at the competition.
"They get to take their chance against some of the best in the state," he said.
"Everyone's got a similar chance, but there are some renowned bowlers in some of the teams. They'll be tough opposition."
The singles competition will be played across March 30 and 31, to be followed by the triples on April 1 and 2. Next is the mixed pairs on April 3 and 4, with the open pairs and senior pairs to follow on April 5 and 6, and the open and senior fours on April 7 and 8.
Certain matches will be live streamed every day, with play to begin at 8.30am every day. Spectators are welcome to attend, with draws, live scores, and results available here.
