AFTER the city's first motorbike and hot rod cruise raised more than $4400 for sick kids last year, participants are hoping to rev up the fundraising efforts for round two this Friday.

Organiser Brendon Clarke said he would love to make the rolling Christmas light tour an annual occasion, raising money for Tamworth's Ronald McDonald House in the lead up to Christmas.
"Last year it was a bit rainy so numbers were down but we still had 76 entrants," he said.
"So we're redoing it again this year to keep it going and make it annual event - hopefully we can improve on what we made last year and so far there has been lots of interest."
Hot rods and bikes of all shapes and sizes will be decked out in Christmas theme and ready to roll from 6pm, Friday, December 17, at Tamworth's Western Ranges Motorcycles.
From there they will embark on a Christmas lights tour across town, before heading to the Nemingha Tavern for a monster raffle, buffet dinner and live music courtesy of Tamworth singer Brent Larkham.
"There will be raffle prizes such as eskies, driving lights, hams and meat trays, vouchers and lots of different things," Mr Clarke said.
The Christmas lights route will take riders out to Moore Creek, Oxley Vale, Westdale and South Tamworth, then head to Calala before travelling to Kootingal and back to The Nemingha Tavern.
"Santa Claus will also be there throwing out lollies," Mr Clarke added.
"100 per cent of everything that's raised is going to our local Ronald McDonald House.
"Christmas is about kids and Ronald McDonald House is about kids as well."
Entries are $20, and donated to charity.
