Loop Road at Duncans Creek was ravaged by harsh weather and despite Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) being told about it more than a week ago, locals claim nothing has been done to resolve the issue.
Ruby Jones' father, Leonard, is one of the residents stuck at his property, unable to navigate the road in his station wagon.
With landlines down and no mobile phone, his family has had to rely heavily on neighbours to check up on him.
"We're having to rely on neighbours that are down closer to Woolomin that know dad, because he's lived out there all his life, to make contact with him via CB [radio]," Ms Jones said.
She claims damage to the road isn't a new issue out that way, and said the council had promised to fix the road earlier this year - but it never happened.
Following the March floods, she said it was her father who had to take action.

"There's not very good drainage, so when there's a heavy downpour the road washes away, my father is the one who normally has to go and fix up the potholes," she said.
"There's actually two cattle grids there which my father, in the last flood earlier this year, had to go and dig out because it was flooding the road, because it had been full of all the dirt and debris of previous rainfalls."
As a result of the damage, the school bus and mail deliveries are unable to access the area.
Ms Jones said despite going to council on three separate occasions so far, they have received a generic response and no timeline as to when the problem will be fixed.
When approached about the issue by the Leader, TRC operations and construction manager Murray Russell was unable to comment on Loop Road specifically, but said fixing routes which have left residents isolated is a top priority.
"With two floods and several major storms in recent weeks, with an associated Natural Disaster Declaration, there has been extensive damage on numerous roads across the region," he said.
"Council staff are working to ensure that reinstatement of property access is treated as a highest priority for any residents that have been isolated by recent damage to the road network."
