St Mary's North Tamworth Preschool kids donated dozens of gifts they had received to others, through the Salvation Army.
Teacher Wendy Richardson said it was a way for the preschool to teach children to be grateful for what they have received.
"It's about teaching the children about giving," she said.
"The idea is for them to look at the presents they have at home and then to look at the children that aren't getting gifts and go through their toys and give a toy that they no longer play with."

Ms Richardson said their kids have never been more generous.
"This year would have to be the most gifts that we've received. We've had five to six trestle tables full of gifts, so that's a lot," she said.
"We just did three carloads to the Salvation Army."
Salvation Army Corps Officer Major Tony DeTomasso said the kids were excited to help others during the season of giving.
"I came and spoke to the kids before; their eyes were aglow. It just connects us to the season," he said.
"About helping, giving someone else a present. That the presents were going where they were needed.
"It just gives them a wider understanding of what goes on and that the fact that there are people out there who do need help."
People have already come to the Salvos looking for help, he said.
The army is trying to help families "holistically", kicking off their first education class last week.
"It's going to people who we've become aware of need help. We just take it right up as close as we can to Christmas," he said.
Pre-School Manager Marilyn Sandell said the school had turned 30 in 2021 and was preparing to celebrate the occasion.
