It's the first event of its kind for the Tamworth club and is aimed at women 18 and over who want to try the sport at a beginners level.
"We know it can be daunting for women but the three disciplines require you to be fitter than anticipated," Tamworth Triathlon Club's Kimberley Squires said.
"The reality is it's really achievable."
Saturday's event will kick off from 4pm at the Kootingal Swimming Pool.
A number of the club's seasoned female triathletes will be there to give out advice.
The triathlon will consist of a 100m swim, a 4km ride and a 1km run but it won't matter if people finish or not.
"Some people can't swim or are nervous to ride a bike on the road... just do what you want," Squires said.
"Or they can choose to do it as part of a team."
She added: "We really just try and work in with people."
The club also prides itself on being family-orientated and kids were welcome to be brought along on the weekend.
"As a club, we're less about super serious sport and more about encouraging the community to take part in physical activity," Squires said.
"We try to have a focus on families doing the sport all together.
"What we've established, is something every single member of the family can do.
"We have kids from 18 months starting out, all the way competitors in their 80s."
Following the ladies triathlon, the club will hold their regular triathlon. Check the club's Facebook page for more information.
