Originally meant to run until Friday, the weather saw no play on Thursday with a decision then made to call an early finish to the event.
Instead, joint winners across three divisions were announced on Thursday with local teams featuring prominently.
The division one title was shared between the Port Jackson Red and White teams.
Division two went to Tamworth Magpies and New England who will face off next year sometime to decide a winner.
Finally, division three was won by Central West and Quirindi who played a final on Wednesday which ended in a tie.
Tamworth Veterans Cricket president Greg Kellett said despite the weather, it was a great week.
He was also thankful for the help he received from all involved after having to shift division one and two games from Riverside and No 1 Oval to synthetic pitches at places like Moore Creek, Nundle and Goonoo Goonoo.
"It was good, the support I got from the group," Kellett said.
The way the Tamworth Magpies performed at the carnival also delighted Kellett.
They beat the Western Wildfires and Penrith with the latter coming against the odds, Kellett said.
In the Twenty20 match against Penrith, Tamworth won by four wickets but they were in a spot of bother. Chasing 81 for victory, Tamworth sat at 5-37 after 12 overs.
"We were done for," Kellett said.
"We need five an over and the ground being slow - all of them were - then we needed six an over with four to go.
"But we ended up getting them with an over to spare."
Olly Taylor (26) led the way with the bat while Trevor Sing (11) and Brad Sutherland (13*) scored runs late in the piece to secure the win.
