The No 3's 68-ball innings included seven boundaries and two sixes, and helped propel the two-time reigning premiers to 7-162 off 36 overs.
Mack shared a 66-run fourth-wicket stand with his brother James, the second top scorer with a 45-ball 31.
Kookaburras used nine bowlers, with Chris Holliday the pick of them: 3-11 off five overs.
"It was my first bat of the year, so it was nice," Andy Mack said, adding that he had not even had a net session ahead of Saturday's clash.
