Belmont bowler Michael Kedwell has taken out the 2021 Disability Lawn Bowls Singles Classic at South Tamworth Bowling Club.

Kedwell beat West Tamworth's Aaron Kelly 16-13 in the final to claim the gold medal.
While the final was tight, Kedwell had been a dominant figure in the quarters and semis.

He beat Geoff Seton 22-5 and Gilbert Hicks 21-10 to progress to the final.
Meanwhile, Kelly beat Ron Mowday 16-6 and Richard Rombouts 21-14 to move through to the final.
The bronze medal match saw Hicks and Rombouts face off.
Hicks was on song for the bronze medal playoff and scored a 19-9 victory.
The three-day tournament wrapped up on Wednesday with 22 bowlers taking part.
"We're excited that we're able to host and we hope the event is successful and we can host it again in the future," he said.
