The Newcastle-based bluegrass band born out of Gunnedah recently announced its rebirth, with a gig at the Welders Dog in Tamworth on Saturday set to mark the first time the boys have performed together in six years.
In April 2015, the band was shook by an horrific accident that claimed the life of their singer, Stuart McKenzie.
The boys were returning to Gunnedah and Boggabri for gigs at the time when a head-on collision killed both drivers and severely injured Ben and Nic.
The band had just finished recording their second EP, Cream of Corn with Australian country music royalty, Shane Nicholson, and Murph was overseas at the time.
"We took obviously an immediate break from the band then," Murph told the Leader.
"But we thought we owe it to ourselves to come back, and there's plenty of people that still support the band and understand the legacy that Stu left.
"We've being playing music together since we were 12 years old and we're in our mid-thirties now."
Whilst with the band, singer Stu McKenzie performed over 400 shows travelling across Australia and recorded two studio EPs.

Murph said while the boys' recovery process will last a lifetime, they've battled on.
"We've grieved, we have gotten through that," he said.
"The boys had some pretty significant injuries, but they've gotten through the worst part of it most certainly.
"The band is family to us, and it's brought people together since we started."
The band has been busy brewing new music, and have recruited Central Coast local Tom "Hunter" Beasley on mandolin and vocals.
Good Corn Liquor will perform at The Welder's Dog in Tamworth on Saturday, November 20 at 6pm, followed by a free show at The Railway Hotel in Gunnedah on Sunday, November 21 at 3pm
The tour wraps up in Newcastle on Friday, November 26 at The Stag & Hunter.
