Moree, Inverell and Tamworth COVID-19 update: thirteen new cases in Moree, twelve in Inverell, and three in Tamworth on Friday

It comes as case numbers decrease to 13 in Moree and three in Tamworth.

Hunter New England Health has urged anyone with symptoms to get tested and confirmed continued testing and vaccinations are available for the Inverell and Moree communities.

Across the health district 57 new cases were recorded, 31 have been in isolation, 21 were infectious in the community and five are under investigation.

As of 8pm last night, 286 new cases were recorded across NSW and two people have died.

In Moree, vaccination clinics are operating at Moree Hospital vaccination clinic, Moree Hospital mobile vaccination clinic at Boughton Oval, Plus X on Anne Street and home vaccination requests can be made by calling 6752 1099.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service are also running a pop-up vaccination clinic in Moree at the RSL club on Albert Street. It will open today and run over the weekend, offering first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine to anyone over 12.

Daily testing is also available at the Moree Hospital, Plus X Gateway and the showground's drive-through location.

In Inverell testing is available at the Laverty and Clinical Labs drive-through clinics with no bookings required.
