Doreen is the race day secretary for the Narrabri club. She is one of the oldest to hold such a position and works tirelessly for the club in organising meetings, which she will be doing once again this coming April.
Doreen was most appreciative when she received a phone call of congratulations from a Harness Racing NSW official to acknowledge her achievement.

Menangle will be the centre stage for all the harness racing action on Saturday night and we wish local reinsman Dean Chapple all the best when he takes the drive behind Roclea Image in the For A Reason @ Cobbity Equine Farm NSWBC True Blue Series 2yo Colts & Geldings Group 2 race.
Roclea Image is trained by Chapple's nephew Mitchell and will commence from the six barrier while stablemate Chappy Streetnorth will commence from the five barrier with Western Districts reinsman Mat Rue to take the reins.
With the run that Guy Chapple has had lately of overcoming bowel cancer an making a winning return to the sport it would seem fitting that his son Mitchell trains the winner of a Group 2 race.
We wish the family combination of father, son and uncle all the best.

Last Saturday night was a big night for the Breeders Challenge Finals and once again some little superstars were produced.
Bar Room Banta was the first to achieve a title in taking out the NSW Breeders Challenge 3YO Colts & Geldings $150,000 Group 1 Final with a mile rate of 1.50.7 for 1609m.
The A Rock'n'roll Dance gelding was driven by Luke McCarthy and at $4.20 had a 4.6m win over $1.95 favourite Titian Raider (Glenn McElhinney).
The NSW Breeders Challenge 2YO Colts & Geldings $150,000 Group 1 Final had a field of 10 and the lone Queensland contender, Tim's A Trooper, took line honours. The Grant Dixon-trained and Robbie Morris-driven Tintin In America gelding smashed the dreams of former Armidale residents Scott Whitton and Jodie Foster of Tumby Park.
Tim's A Trooper ($41) had a 1.6m win over Tumby Park horses My Ultimate Byron (Cameron Hart) and My Ultimate Ronnie, who was a head away third.
My Ultimate Byron, who was having his eight-race start succumbed to his first minor placings after securing seven wins on the trot.
Two-year-old Bling It On filly Madrid, trained by Jarrod Alchin and driven by Cameron Hart had a three-metre win in the NSW Breeders Challenge 2YO $150,000 Fillies Group 1 Final and as $1.65 favourite clocked 1.51.9-mile rate for 1609m.
The night did belong to Anntonia, trained by David Thorn and driven by Jack Trainor, with the Bettors Delight filly taking out the NSW Breeders Challenge 3YO Fillies $150,000 Group 1 Final in setting an Australasian record with a mile rate of 1.49.8 for 1609m.
Anntonia was certainly the short-priced favourite at $1.35
Good to see the Roy Roots Jnr-trained and Robbie Morris-driven The Black Prince winning the $100,00 Group 1 Len Smith Mile in superb style after achieving a run up on the pegs to take the victory and starting off of $81 for the win and a mile rate of 1.49.9 for 1609m. Looking good for the upcoming Inter Dominion.
