The Northern Inland Academy of Sport celebrated its 2021 programs and athletes with a virtual awards night on Sunday night.

Hosted by Mike Rabbitt, the night saw the award recipients, including the Athlete of the Year, for the completed programs announced, as well as the Coach of the Year, Communicator of the Year, Chairperson's Award and Sarah Heagney Award.
Michael Crummy from the mountain biking program was named Coach of the Year and Caleb Bettison (Athletics) the Communicator of the Year. Netballer Isabella Bannister received the Chairperson's Award, and netball program head coach Kaitlin Driscoll the Sarah Heagney Award while Rabbitt was awarded life membership.
