Northern Inland coaches faced some tough decisions in selecting the regional academy squads for the 2021/22 season with the talent on show at Sunday's trials in Tamworth.

NICC administrator Richard Bullock said the coaches were all impressed by what they saw.
"There were some new faces too, which was great, it means we're reaching a wider audience," Bullock said.
They had one player travel down from Tenterfield.
The trials were to select the under-13s, under-14s, under-15s and under-16s squads to be involved in the academy program.

They won't have to wait long to get into it, with the first academy session scheduled for a fortnight (venue to be announced).
