FREE transport will be available for people across Tamworth trying to make their way to the city's first mass vaccination centre at the sports dome on Sunday.

Hannafords Coaches will run from Westdale and Coledale to the sports dome via Robert Street and Hillvue Road with several stops along the way.
It departs Mayne Drive in Westdale every hour from 9am to 2pm and leaves the sports dome at 35 minutes past the hour to return to the start of the route.

Tamworth Buslines will service limited stops from Oxley Vale to the sports dome and runs on the same schedule.
QR code check-in is essential but passengers can catch a bus at any stop along the routes for free.
Tamworth Regional Council has a community bus based at the dome and will help run patients home after their jabs.

Mayor Col Murray thanked the companies for generosity and thinking of the community.
The mass vaccination hub will open at the Tamworth Sports Dome on Jack Smyth Drive between 9am and 3pm on Sunday.
Anyone over the age of 18 will have access to the Astra Zeneca vaccine, regardless of their circumstances, and with no appointment needed.
