Mauritian Flyer ran dead last in the opener but to use a racing term, it's fair to say Marmara 'ran over the top of them' by night's end.
Heading into the eighth race of the night, Marmara hadn't featured in the placings.

Greek Temptation turned that around with a second placing before Marmara won three of the last four races.
Mauritian Jazz, Gunnedah Girl and Greek Bombshell all won their respective races.
"It wasn't a bad night at all," Marmara said.
A short 10-minute drive home after the meeting was welcome as well.
Marmara would love to see more racing brought to Gunnedah and the region - something Gunnedah Greyhound Racing Club president Geoff Rose is pushing for - particularly now with COVID-19 popping up in the regions.
"This is exactly what we want," Marmara said of extra races.
"Put it this way, there's no way I'd be going to the Gardens right now or anywhere else with all this stuff going on. For me, it's just not worth the risk.
"This is where we need more racing. Otherwise I have to travel 7-8 hours there and back and get home at 2am in the morning."
The youngest of Marmara's winners on Thursday was Mauritian Jazz and the trainer thought she could progress further.
"I can't see why not. She's done everything that I've asked her to," he said.
"I'm going to put her over a distance - a little bit longer - and if she cops that alright, she'll just keep going with it, I hope.
"She's pretty quick early so I think she'll step up."
