A MAN charged with shooting at police during a chase through the streets of Tamworth has had his case adjourned in court, to line it up with his co-accused.

Joshua Ty Tehoata, 28, has been behind bars since his dramatic arrest in May, and did not appear in Tamworth Local Court when his case was called earlier this week.
Legal Aid defence solicitor Rae Parker asked magistrate Julie Soars to adjourn the matter for three weeks, and said the Crown had agreed.
"It's a joint application ... to join the co-accused in the matter, thank you Your Honour," Ms Parker said.
Ms Soars granted the adjournment and listed the matter for mid-September, the same date Tehoata's co-accused is set to appear in court.

Ms Soars asked solicitors if the state prosecuting authority, the DPP, would be ready to confirm the string of charges levelled against Tehoata when the case goes back to court next month.
"I don't think it will be," Ms Parker replied.
No application for Tehoata's release was made and Ms Soars formally refused bail.
She ordered the accused to appear in court via video link on the next occasion.
The court previously heard the brief of evidence against Tehaota had been compiled by police.
Tehoata is facing nine charges relating to weapon, firearm and drug offences after police claim bullets were fired at officers during a pursuit which was sparked in the early hours of May 15.
The police case is that a Ford Territory failed to stop when officers signalled it to pull over, causing the chase to continue through Nemingha, Kootingal, Calala and Tamworth.
Police claim Tehoata was travelling in the Ford when the passenger leant out the window and fired several gunshots at the unmarked police car.
It's alleged bullet holes were later discovered in the bumper and bonnet.
Police deployed road spikes and said the Ford eventually lost control and crashed through a fence at the Tamworth Golf Course.
Tehoata and his co-accused were arrested on the course a short time later.
He has not entered pleas.
