The hotel industry has been battered by the coronavirus crisis more than most, and two local pubs are set to show the way out of the pandemic.

The owner of the Courthouse Hotel and Pig and Tinder Box will offer an incentive for employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Regional hotels company Harvest Hotels, which owns pubs in Tamworth, Dubbo, Wagga and Albury, will pay a $100 "allowance" to staff who get the jab.
Harvest Hotels Director Fraser Haughton said the company wants to "lead by example" in the battle to stop the spread of the virus.

"Every time regional communities go into a lockdown; hospitality venues are forced to shut, and our staff lose work," he said.
"We know that rolling up our sleeves for the jab is the only way out of the pandemic, so this $100 allowance is our small way of encouraging our employees who can, to get vaccinated."
The incentive will also help offset any time needed away from work in the aftermath of a vaccination.
Both the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines can cause side effects in some workers, that force them to take time off work.
Staff are eligible for $100 who choose to get the jab, or who have been already immunised.
Courthouse Hotel General Manager Keagan Cohen said the payment was a nice gesture and a bonus for staff who want to be proactive.
"The hospitality industry is looking for certainty at the moment, if getting vaccinated helps prevent lockdowns, keeps our team safe and makes the community feel comfortable to come back to our pubs, then great," he said.
The hotels are among the first in Tamworth to announce an incentive payment for their staff to get vaccinated.
Tamworth residents also threw their support behind a Labor Party brainwave for the Commonwealth to offer $300 to ever Australian who has been vaccinated or gets the jab in the future.
