Despite a few rain delays, Tamworth Baseball Incorporated president David McMurray said the competition has been a hit with numbers building nicely.
"Even though it's a short comp, there's still a very strong interest," he said.
"Numbers have been picking up each week."

Anywhere up to 60 kids have been turning out on a Sunday for a hit.
"It's obviously the backbone of any association - the juniors," McMurray said.
Unfortunately there will be no games this weekend with all junior and senior baseball suspended in the wake of the Tamworth lockdown.
