Torrens has only had the gelding, who is owned by her brother and sister-in-law, and a close friend, for a little over four months after picking him up on the Inglis online auctions.
Previously with Stephen O'Halloran at Goulburn, she said he "had some decent form about him".
"He was getting beaten but never getting beaten too far," she said.
She said he has been "going well" in his work since the Moree run and is looking "nice and sharp".
"He's no champion but he'll be up amongst them," she said of his chances on Tuesday.
He has drawn barrier seven, but does have "a little bit of gate speed" and Torrens expects him to settle in the middle. Hopefully he can then sprint home over the top of them as did at Moree.
The meeting was transferred from Quirindi, with the Quirindi track deemed unsuitable for racing, and will be subject to strict COVID protocols in light of the lockdowns in the Hunter, Upper Hunter, Armidale and Tamworth
Only essential personnel, and owners that reside outside of the four areas and the Greater Sydney Region will be permitted to attend.
The first race jumps at 12.55pm.
