The recent wet weather has plagued NSW country tracks, but new TJC track manager Mitch Robinson said the course would be ready and raring for the challenge.
"It's a bit busy, and it has been quite wet recently," Robinson said.

"The track has taken a bit of a hammering on the inside but that is part and parcel of winter and country racing.
"We are more than capable of getting through this month and stepping into next month with another two meetings before another meeting in early October."
Robinson admitted the weather gods would play their part, as they always do, but he said his team would be focusing on having the Tamworth track in tip top shape.
"Really, in a way, we just hope we don't get any rain and that is the ideal scenario," Robinson laughed.
"But in the same instance, we need to work on track patches, so we are ready to go and in the best possible condition for race meetings."
Friday's meeting has 95 acceptances across the eight-race-program and with the recent abandonment of so many other regional meetings due to both the Covid-19 pandemic and wet weather, Robinson believed it was imperative that Tamworth raced.
"With tracks being washed out and other tracks not being able to race, we need to be ready," Robinson said.
