Nominations closed on Friday for the TJC's spots on the board (up to six). It received eight nominations, Buckley said.
Racing NSW has advertised for the four people it appoints to the board.

Jockey Club members will elect, at their annual general meeting in September, up to six board members (a minimum of four).
"And we will supply a candidate information pack with papers, no later than 14 days prior to the AGM," Buckley said.
Racing NSW, Buckley added, were looking for board appointees who would "compliment" the TJC's appointees.
"They're looking for people with experience in law, accounting, commerce, marketing and that sort of thing," he said.
The previous TJC board stood down in January. And last month a Racing NSW inquiry found that the club had breached its conditions of registration.
The breach related to maintenance work on the track that cost a "significant" amount of money.
An administrator was appointed to the club, before Buckley commenced as general manager in May.
Soon after that, work began on a $1.5 million, long- overdue reconstruction of the sand training track.
This month it was announced that $2.4 million in state government funding would be invested in training infrastructure and on an upgrade of the stables at Tamworth Racecourse.
