Kootingal-Moonbi's Abby Schmiedel scores five tries in win over Barraba

The skipper wasn't worried about her personal effort but delighted with the "way we played".

"I thought we played really well although we still made a few too many errors for what we should be," Schmiedel said.

"We played well as a team and we only had one sub too. We were pretty short of players."

Schmiedel thought Madi Roach was one of her best.

"She was very good, awesome out of dummy half," she said.

All in all it was an outstanding team effort.

As for Schmiedel she didn't waste too much time thinking of her individual effort merely noting she had scored five tries before and that it was a long while back.

Of her being awarded the three points in the B&F Award she said: "That's nice".

That her side sits third behind North Tamworth and Dungowan on the ladder was more of a concern. All three sides have 16 points with for and against the decider.

However, North Tamworth and Dungowan both have a +262 differential with the James Cooper-coached Bearettes scoring 20 more than Dungowan while the Cowgirls have let in 20 less points.

It's a unique position for both sides after Dungowan beat Werris Creek 44-6 at David Taylor Park and North Tamworth beat Gunnedah 40-8 at Kitchener Park, Gunnedah.

Both Norths and Dungowan had multiple try-scorers with Steph Halpin crossing for three and Kate Ferguson two for Norths while Chloe Shanley and Jada Taylor bagged three apiece for the Cowgirls.

Taylor's trio of tries took her to 15 for the season, third to Kim Resch (22) and Abby Schmiedel (17) while teammate Shanley has 12 in an outstanding grouping that also includes Halpin and Gunnedah's Charlotte Eather (13 apiece).

Moree's Sheldyn Briggs also bagged a try-double when her side beat Manilla Tigers 28-nil at Manilla Showground on Saturday.

Her pair of tries took her to 11 for the season and seventh position.

In the remaining match Boggabri beat Narrabri Bluebirds 18-4 at Jubilee Oval with Ashlyn Summers receiving a deserving three points in the G4 B&F.
