Following the Tamworth and Hockey New England side's performances at last weekend's state under-13s girls championships at Grafton with New England wining Division 2 and Tamworth finishing third, nine players have been named in the state squad.
Tamworth's Abbighael Burkett, Anna George, Ella Tanna and Olivia Fitzpatrick and New England's Ashlee Morgan, Lucy Deiderick, Maddie Porter and Mimosa Wright are in the mix to represent NSW at the nationals later in the year.
The final Lions and Stars teams to play in Tasmania in October will be named later this month.
