A YOUNG man accused of stealing a Hyundai SUV, keys and other personal items from a Tamworth caravan park before setting the car on fire has fronted court.

Donald Sullivan, 19, was granted conditional bail in Tamworth Local Court on Monday afternoon after he was charged with a string of offences at the weekend.
Magistrate Erin Kennedy ordered Sullivan to report to Tamworth Police Station once a week.
He is banned from entering Paradise Caravan Park, approaching any prosecution witnesses and has been ordered to start drug rehabilitation.
The 19-year-old will have to attend appointments at Headspace and was required to pay a $300 bail security agreement. He did not enter any pleas.
Oxley Police District officers claim car keys and personal items were stolen from a caravan parked inside the Peel Street caravan park between 5:30pm and 6:30pm on Friday.
A Hyundai SUV was also stolen.
Officers started an investigation and shortly after 8:30am on Saturday, police received reports the Hyundai SUV had been seen on Hilton Street with smoke coming from the area shortly after.
The public reported a man seen walking from the area and police started to canvas the streets before Sullivan was found on Lydia Street.
Officers gave chase to the 19-year-old on foot and arrested him a short time later on Vera Street.

Sullivan was searched and police allege they found a stolen bank card, the drug ice and a pocketknife.
He was taken to Tamworth Police Station and charged with break enter and steal; steal motor vehicle; malicious damage by fire; possess prohibited drug; possess knife, and larceny.
Police will allege the bank card was stolen from a car on Darrel Road at Calala on the evening of July 2.
The case will return to court in August.
