The annual Wean Picnic Race Club meeting scheduled for next Saturday has been abandoned as COVID rears it's ugly head again.

In a post informing patrons of the news, the club said it wished "to advise the postponement of our July 10 race meeting due to COVID compliance and the restrictions it poses".
"We regret the postponement and the inconvenience and we will work with Racing NSW to have another race date".
Racing NSW said a replacement picnic meeting venue and date will be considered next week.
It's the second year in a row that the meeting has been affected by the pandemic. Last year the committee made the tough decision to not hold it.
