Teams from across Zone 3 will compete in the state championship pairs quarter-finals at South Tamworth Bowling Club this weekend.

Winners from last weekend's sectionals play will converge on the facility for state pairs, senior pairs and president's reserve pairs.

Winning teams from the zone finals qualify for the state championships, which will be held at Ettalong Bowling Club on August 20.
"Whilst some restrictions are in place at the South Tamworth Bowling Club including face mask indoors, bowls can continue to be played outdoors without a face mask," said Phil O'Reilly of Zone 3's match committee.
South Tamworth Bowling club will also host to the women's regional finals, which start on Monday and finish on Saturday.
It will consist of singles, pairs, triples, fours and mixed pairs.
Regional champions will compete in the women's state championships at South Tamworth on August 23.
