A key moment - also one of those frustrating times - came in the first half when a shot on goal by Farrer's Max Rumble just missed to the left.
Then, in the blink of an eye, Woolooware had scored a goal of their own to make it 1-0.
Farrer kept coming but another Woolaware goal in the second half would be the only other to be scored as the match ended at 2-0.
"It was frustrating, we held possession pretty well. We just couldn't utilise that time on the ball pushing forward," Wesierski said.
While the result was disappointing, Wesierski said Farrer gave it their all and "left it all on the paddock".
The season was still a success with the 2021 open boys team being the first Farrer side to win the regional final, when they beat Inverell last week, since 2002.
"I'm proud of the school, proud of all the boys and spectators coming down to watch - it really lifted our intent and attitude in the second half," he said.
"I believe our team played really well today. I couldn't ask for anything more."
A surprise inclusion for the game was Mitch Henderson.
Better known as a half on the rugby league field, Henderson filled in for Cooper Butler who was away on an educational excursion.
"Mitch played North West in year 6 with myself. So it's been a long time - six years since he put the gloves on - but I tell you what, he put in a great effort today," Wesierski said.
