Upper Peel Landcare Group hosted 'Off-Grid Guy', Michael Mobbs on Sunday to open the community garden next to Nundle Library.
Mr Mobbs shared his decades of experience with off-grid sustainable living and community food growing and recycling, and installed the first combination bench and compost bin.
Members of the community came to enjoy a delicious shared lunch, do some planting in the garden and learn more about how to take care of it at the opening event.

The garden is the first major project for the recently reformed Upper Peel Landcare Group, which will be open during library hours.
