MOREE Boars roared late for a second successive match to snatch the Group 4 first grade competition points from Werris Creek with a 26-24 win at Boughton Oval.

While disappointed with the result, Werris Creek co-coach Cody Tickle wasn't disappointed by the brave effort from his side.
The Magpies were down 8-0 early on before scoring 24 unanswered points.

They took that 16-point lead into half-time.
The Boars hit back in the second half and, like their last match against Gunnedah, stormed home.
Moree winger Alex Lawrence scored in the corner on Saturday to make it 24-all in the final few minutes against the Magpies.
Then, halfback Michael Watton converted the try from the sideline.
"Mick produced it again today," Moree captain-coach Ben Williams said.
"We got up again late, she was tight, very tight."
Williams also said the performance of Jarvis Watton, who scored a double, was a major factor to his side's win.
For the Magpies, Harlee and Isaah Millgate steered the Magpies into good positions with Tickle and lock Zac Leonard taking advantage of the attacking threats posed by the brothers.
"Every time they ran they were dangerous," Tickle said of Isaah and Harlee.
"Zac was real good too and the two 18 year-olds, Riley [Leonard] and Charlie [Parsons], I can't say enough about them.
"They [Moree] started well but we were able to wrestle the momentum back and lead 24-8.
"In the second half it went up and down, would have been a good game to watch I suppose but the result wasn't what we wanted."
