The surprise appearance of ex-Eels flyer Ethan Parry has added a sprinkling of star dust to the Roosters' 30-12 defeat of North Tamworth at Kootingal on Saturday.
Parry, 22, was used at right centre off the bench, in what was his Group 4 debut - having recently returned home to Tamworth to "clear his head" after previously admitting to "falling out of love" with the game.
The Roosters capped off a great day by winning reserve grade 26-22 and league tag 30-18.

GRAFTON TO INVERELL CYCLE CLASSIC
Continuing a long line of great cyclists coming out of the Country Music Capital, Sam Hill has claimed second place in the Grafton to Inverell.
"I died a thousand deaths," Hill joked about how he coped during the 228km stretch.
"I was in a bad way just before Glen Innes, but my legs came good and I got my second wind towards the end of the ride, and then I was running on adrenaline for the last 30 minutes."
