"Demand always outstrips supply when it comes to warm winter clothing," regional director Phil Donnan said.
"We see a lot more people and their need is urgent; they walk in the door and need assistance straight away."
Mr Donnan said the winter appeal calls for cash to help services in Tamworth.
"We've seen a lot of new clients," he said.
The director also assured residents any donated goods will stay in the area to support the local community through the cold weather.
He said homelessness isn't always sleeping rough. In Tamworth couch-surfing is a big issue, people face the risk of homelessness as they struggle to make ends meet.
