What a debut Rebekah Jenkins and Kurt Hartmann made for the Kootingal Roosters at David Taylor Park, Werris Creek on Saturday.

Rebekah was first to star when she scored three tries for the Kootingal-Moonbi Roosters in their 64-nil feathering of the Werris Creek Magpies in their Ladies League Tag clash.
She also polled two points in the Group 4 Best and Fairest Award with teammate Tiarn Bayliss snaring the three.

A couple of hours later on in the day and her partner, Kurt Hartmann, was also scoring tries for the Roosters in their 46-6 demolition of the hometown Magpies.
Kurt scored two of the first three tries for the Roosters to help send them on their eight try to one victory.
He also garnered a point in the G4 B&F (behind teammate Ryley Mackay's 3 and Creek co-coach Cody Tickle's 1) as well as being awarded the Rooster first grade players' player award.
Not a bad debut for the lovebirds.
They had played a year at Gunnedah in 2019.
Rebekah originates from Newcastle and did work for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter in Tamworth for two years before taking a full-time job at the Tamworth TAFE recently.
Kurt is also from Newcastle and is a PE teacher at Tamworth High.
"Been there four years," he said.
"Had the one year at Gunnedah (2019)," he added of his local rugby league experience.
The travel back and across for training and games became a burden so he and Rebekah decided to join the Roosters out at Kootingal.
They knew "Sharpie ran good fitness sessions".
That is first grade coach Geoff Sharpe and he has ensured Kurt, who has always been fit, remains fit and healthy.
That shone in both Rebekah and Kurt's play on Saturday.
Both are fit, fast and natural instinctive players.
"If you turn up for his sessions you know you will get fit," Kurt said.
Of the 46-6 win he thinks there is plenty of improvement in his fellow Roosters.
"It was a good way to start," he said.
"Good to get off the nudie run too," he said with a grin.
