The 16-year-old was tracked to a Mack Street home on Wednesday, where he was arrested after investigations into the April 11 break-in.
"A caravan was broken into in Petra Avenue in South Tamworth where money and property was taken," Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy said.
"The Proactive Crime Team have been investigating, and acting on information, identified a juvenile who was arrested and charged with break, enter and steal."

Detective Darcy said the arrest was one of several in recent weeks, but police had been hampered in their investigations.
"Police have received information that there are a small group of persons from West Tamworth involved in property offences, break and enters, motor vehicle thefts and steal from motor vehicles," he said.
"These individuals are being harboured by family and friends in the West Tamworth area.
"They know they are wanted by police, and we would say to the community, do not assist these people who are behind this offending.
"We need the community to work with us; we will continually knock on doors at all hours of night and put resources in to catching these people who are committing offences.
"But we can't do that without community information from those people who know who these suspects are."
