Horses were saddled up and kids from Bullimbal School were on board when about 20 of them went on their first riding excursion in more than a year.
Principal Brett Pearson said going to RDA is the highlight of the week for students, especially after a "challenging time" during COVID-19.
"The kids haven't been able to access RDA since 2019 ... it's such a fantastic service," he said.

The students love saddling up and taking a walk around the paddock on the ponies, but assistant principal Alex Stewart said it has effects that last long after they leave.
"It's a great topic of conversation and can prompt communication to occur between students and families and their peers here at the school," she said.
"The kids really notice a lot of the horses and their names."
The students will also get to relive their fun in the sun when they get back to school, with horsing around forming part of their learning when they are asked to write or talk about their adventure.
It was organised chaos at RDA as the kids came in and the horses were saddled up and led around by dedicated volunteers and Farrer students.
The group from Bullimbal will go back each Thursday, and a new group will get their turn next term.
