An under-strength Nomads outfit travelled to Tamworth's Riverside 5 on Saturday and were up for the fight early.
The Swans led by just one point at quarter time before the home side clicked into gear. Quarter by quarter, they stretched their lead to secure the 9.17 (71) to 1.3 (9) win.

Kathleen Voon was named the Swans' best while Jessica Kirkpatrick was named the side's player's player.
"We've been working on a few different things at training and when we put that into practice, it meant we could play the style we want to play," Kirkpatrick said.
The Swans lent the Nomads three players each quarter so a game was able to be played.
Kirkpatrick said they were happy to do it: "We just want more teams in the comp," Kirkpatrick said.
She added: "Credit to the Nomads. It was their first game after forfeiting last week."
Along with Voon, Kirkpatrick thought Erin Allan and Ella Mitchell played well.
Allan kicked four goals for the Swans while Isabelle Grave scored New England's lone goal.
