Pooches and their owners put it all on the line in this year's Great Nundle Dog Race. You'll find events for mongrels, house dogs ... and every breed in between. Great Escape Expo

COVID restrictions have meant more people are planning holidays that will take them into the great OZ outdoors and wilderness. This new event will showcase all you need to get moving - caravans, boating, fishing, travel, hunting, 4WDs and telecoms. More than 100 vendors are going to be at the Old Athletics Track on Ringers Road, so it will be easy to get your research done and start stocking up. Great Escape Expo, Saturday, May 1 and Sunday May 2, 9am - 4pm each day. Entry Free.

The 2340 Big Band will bring people to their feet with great tunes from the Big Bands and vocalists of the 30s, 40s and 50s. Rhapsody in Blue, anybody? It's fondly known as Mayworth and if you're into line-dancing this is for you. Workshops, social dancing, a ball and competitions will fill the long weekend of the Australian Country Dance Festival.
