Gunnedah bashing: Shaun Taylor Fuller and Stephen Francis Partridge front court, accused of Railway Hotel assault

Shaun Taylor Fuller, aged 26, and 58-year-old Stephen Francis Partridge are alleged to be part of the gang that attacked a man in Gunnedah's Railway Hotel on the night of February 27.

Police allege the pair are members of the Gladiators outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG).

Both appeared in Gunnedah Local Court for the first time on charges of affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in the company of others.

Fuller pleaded not guilty to both charges and police have been ordered to compile a brief of evidence into the case.

According to court documents, Partridge's case was adjourned, but no pleas were recorded.

Magistrate Peter Thompson adjourned the cases to June for mention, and continued the current bail conditions for the pair.

Police claim the gang attacked a 29-year-old man inside the Railway Hotel on Barber Street.

The attack unfolded about 11.30pm on February 27, and the victim was punched and kicked. He suffered facial injuries and was treated at Gunnedah hospital.

Another man, aged 25, has been charged by police. He was arrested in Maitland on allegations of affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and will appear in a court at a later date.

Police claim he is also a member of the Gladiators OMCG and was visiting when the assault occurred.

Earlier this month, police made a second public appeal to identify four others who were wanted for questioning in relation to the assault.

Fuller and partridge were arrested in Boggabri and Gunnedah in the wake of the public appeal in March.

In early-March, Oxley police released security surveillance footage from the hotel of the men wanted for questioning.
