A HEARING date has been set for a Tamworth man accused of dealing with the proceeds of crime, allegedly uncovered during a raid targeting suspected bikies.

Benjamin James Thornley has maintained his not guilty plea to the charge, after again fronting Tamworth Local Court on Monday.
Magistrate Julie Soars set down an August date to hear the case, which is expected to run for about one hour.
Thornley, 38, will face sentencing on the same day for five allegations of possessing a prohibited drug, after pleading guilty last month.

The case had been adjourned to Monday for a brief of evidence to be served, and now Thornley has confirmed his not guilty plea to dealing with the proceeds of crime.
His bail - which was granted after his February arrest - was continued in court.
Strike Force Raptor, backed by Oxley detectives and the local Proactive Crime Team (PCT), raided the Robert Street unit on February 2.
At the time, police claimed the raid was part of a firearm prohibition order search operation which occurred at homes in Tamworth, Oxley Vale and Gunnedah.
Police said the operation was a high-visibility blitz to target known and suspected outlaw motorcycle gang members.
Drugs and other items of interest were seized in the raid, police said in February.
