YOUTH Week in Tamworth has officially begun, and Tamworth Regional Council is hosting numerous fun-filled events to celebrate.

The Youthie's launch party has kicked off the action, which runs from 6pm-9pm on Friday night, and it features tunes from DJ CONz, a free barbecue and activities and competitions.
Next up, there's a sports day at the Sports Dome on Saturday, from 11am-3pm.

Then, on Friday, April 23, 'Handled Scandal' and 'Liquid Zoo' will provide the entertainment at The Youthie from 6pm-8pm. Youth between the ages of 12-25 can grab a snag here, too.
Finally, a barbecue will wrap up the festivities at The Youthie on Saturday, April 24.
There'll be a variety of different foods attendees can taste here.
A shuttle bus will run to-and-from every event, and this can be booked via the Tamworth council website.
