The region's top tennis talent descended on Tamworth on the weekend for the rescheduled Tamworth JUS tournament.

Originally set to be held on March 14, the event, which forms part of the North West Junior UTR series, saw 107 players ranging from as young as under-8s though to adults hit the court.
With competition across five age divisions for both boys and girls the games were split between Farrer High School, West Tamworth Tennis Club and The Courts @ East.

Backing up from their success at the Inverell tournament the previous weekend, Molly Murphy (10/U girls) and Max Judd (12/U boys) won their respective divisions.
Taya Powell won the open women's and Zach Adams the open men's ahead of Powell's father Luke.
Connor Guest took out the 16s boys, Kendra Fitzpatrick the 16s girls, Mason Louis the 14s boys, Ali Morris the 14s girls, Trista Dorian the 12s girls, Dejan Djulic the 10s boys, Everly Clarke the 8s boys and Grace Nobilo the 8s girls.
