It would have been a mud run had it been a week later, but Calrossy Anglican Schools 1000 students were able to enjoy their cross country carnivals this year after COVID interrupted the event last year.

Everyone runs, or some semblance of it, from Calrossy's youngest students in Prep through to Year 12, enjoying their last ever carnival.
What makes the day special for the smallest participants is they have their very own cheer squad,with older students from Year 5, 6 and 7 running alongside them to cross the line.

This year also marked a milestone in the school's sporting history.
After more than 100 years of operation Calrossy has new sports houses that represent the school from Prep to Year 12.
The newly named houses recognise prominent Australians who have excelled in their field from sport, to military service, social justice and health; Cuthbert (Betty Cuthbert), Sheean (Teddy Sheean), Hamlin (Catherine Hamlin) and Nicholls (Douglas Nicholls).
Hamlin was the house champion for the junior school and Cuthbert the secondary school.
The individual age champions were:
Junior School
Girls: 8yrs - Sofia Mureau, 9yrs - Nellie Starr, 10yrs - Emma Leighton, 11yrs - Elizabeth Pickens, 12yrs - Georgia Jones
Boys: 8yrs - Callum Lockwood, 9yrs - Jeremy Scott, 10yrs - Aleksey Chambers, 11yrs - Emmet Hall, 12yrs - Eden Henry
House Champions: Hamlin 232, Nicholls 164, Cuthbert 201, Sheehan 185
Secondary School
Female: 18yrs - Nicole Martin, 17yrs - Chloe Scicluna, 16yrs - Larissa Smith, 15yrs - Lucy Scanlon, 14yrs - Ella McWilliams, 13yrs - Alice Fahey, 12yrs - Kayla Hystek
Male: 18yrs - Hamish McPherson, 17yrs - Charlie Osland, 16yrs - Miller Lloyd, 15yrs - Bryn Heywood, 14yrs - Oscar Turner, 13yrs - Harrison Hamilton, 12yrs - Jack Kelly
