Isabella Wall led the medal charge as the Tamworth Little Athletics club wrapped up the season with some great results at the State Championships in Sydney on the weekend.

Following on from a fantastic effort from the under-9s to under-12s in what were some difficult conditions at the 'Littles' championships, the club's under-13 to under-17s athletes had their chance to shine on the weekend and did just that with several podium finishes and numerous top 10 placings.
Wall picked up two medals, the young runner finishing second in both the under-13s girls 400m and 800m.
Isabella Sawyer meanwhile jumped her way to bronze in the under-14s girls high jump after clearing a personal best 1.61m. She was also 10th in the long jump.

Both had in the lead-up performed strongly at the State Junior Championships with Wall winning the under-14s girls 400m and placing fifth in the 800m, and Sawyer finishing fourth in the under-15s girls high jump and fifth in the long jump.
Ellie Thomas and Josie Wilkie also produced top 10 results.
Thomas was ninth in the under-15s girls high jump and Wilkie 10th the under-13s girls shot put.
Wilkie also finished 18th in her discus.
In other results Sami Wilkie placed 13th in the under-17s girls shot put and javelin, Lily Heap 17th in the under-13s girls 1500m, Hayden Ponto 16th in the under-15s boys shot put, Camilla Andrews 16th in the under-17s girls 400m and James Sampson 12th in the under-14s boys high jump and 19th in the 100m.
