TWO men accused of a spate of break-in offences across Tamworth have been refused bail in court.

Russell Leonard Morgan and Tyrone Charles Brown are set to stay in custody until at least mid-April, after the were refused bail in Tamworth Local Court on Monday.
The men, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested in an early morning Operation Southbreak police blitz on Friday in Coledale.
The dramatic arrest saw officers from the Proactive Crime Team, the dog squad, the High-Risk Domestic Violence Team and general duties police swarm the area before the pair were arrested in Cossa and Quinn streets.

The long-running operation has been targeting those suspected to be behind property crime across Tamworth.
The pair spent the weekend in custody. On Monday, magistrate Joy Boulos refused their bail, and adjourned the cases for hearing and for pleas on separate dates in mid-April and in May.
Brown is accused of entering a building with intent; two counts of committing a S114 offence; stealing property in a house; break, enter and steal; and possessing suspected stolen goods.
Morgan is facing charges of aggravated break-in while someone is home; break, enter and steal; six counts of dishonestly obtaining a financial advantage by deception; receiving stolen property; stealing property in a house; and committing a S114 offence.
Their arrests have been just two of seven in the last seven days as part of the blitz on break-ins.
