Waterfall Way east of Armidale, between Thora and Dorrigo, on NSW's Northern Tablelands, is likely to remain closed in both directions for several days after landslides at Myers Bluff, Thora on Friday.

A council vehicle was struck by debris during one of the landslides but thankfully no one was injured.
Bellingen Shire Council said Transport for NSW Geotech engineers would attend the site as soon as possible.
"It is necessary for weather to stabilise before we can undertake any rectification works; however, council is preparing earthmoving equipment to remedy clean up as soon as the site is deemed safe."

A further slip occurred on Gordonville Cutting on Waterfall Way closer to Bellingen, which restricted vehicular access to a single lane.
